The Nature Festival takes place every year in May, on a date closest to May 22nd, the International Day for Biological Diversity! At the Domain L'Essentiel de Lavande... we participate!
3 Days dedicated to biodiversity
Across France, thousands of events are organized during these 3 days by preservation and nature NGO's, local authorities, businesses, individuals... The idea? To emphasize the preservation of biodiversity through concrete actions and unique savoir-faire.
L’Essentiel de Lavande, a partner of The Nature Festival
The Domain L’Essentiel de Lavande produces 100% natural organic lavender and lavandin essential oil, extracted from the calyxes of our flowers in Bégude-de-Mazenc, in France. The clay-limestone soils of our farm are perfectly exposed so that each strand of lavender and lavandin benefits, throughout its flowering, from optimal conditions to produce essences naturally rich in scents and flavors.
Throughout the seasons, we observe the nature around us and particularly contribute to the preservation of the natural habitat of insects. Thanks to our beehives, we produce honey and participate in the natural pollination of neighboring plants. A rich and precious microcosm that we want to share.

May... the season of weeding before our precious harvest. And as always, nature sets its own pace. Join us for a moment of work in the heart of the lavender fields. Equipped with gloves and appropriate tools, everyone tackles their row of lavender for necessary weeding in organic farming. The atmosphere is friendly, and we appreciate getting our hands in the soil during this beautiful moment of sharing.
Discovery of the growing journey of lavender in an organic producer Domain and practical work are on the agenda!
